I've driven an nice NA NSX with the "Japanese" gearing. Also, the new M3 with paddle shift and we own a E36 M3, besides my Convertible TT swap with NA rear end, which is a pretty decent monster. The NSX is one of the "nicest" cars I've ever driven. It's damn nice. And NSX owners are that rare breed who buy many in a row or own two or three. And if you look at the price of higher-miles examples, they are a bargain, since they're Hondas and still drive like new. Stay far, FAR away from RX7 FDs. I owned an R1, and while, it's light and fast, has too many idiosyncarcies that suck (front end lifts out too much in turns on throttle and the sequential thing is a toy/joke). _MWS
